Same with the groups in my case, trying to load some photos onto a group causes internet explorer to throw up an error and close down.Perhaps yahoo are doing more work as they have recently changed the look of the groups.

The answer to your problem will be in the "Error message you receive"
I've logged in via yahoo at us & uk with no problems
so its most likely your computer cache has a stale page of yahoo
Control with F5 might be enough to refresh it or you might have to delete your internet cache-plenty of programs in lizards locker under miscellany for that
Try coming in through the back door like I do everyday
then select mail to access my yahoo.co.uk addy
cheers

You didn't actually verify your ebay account from the emails did you? Was your yahoo password the same as your ebay one?

If you put your ebay username and password into the form you accessed from the email I would say your account might well have been hacked. The ebay emails you received are almost certainly bogus. Someone I know had exactly this happen to them and like you, their ebay and email passwords were the same. The scum collecting the password must have tried the email account and were then able to change the password and forward all emails to a different account. I think you probably need to contact yahoo and ebay and tell them.
Definitely advise you to use different passwords for each in future.
