Posh and Backs are very well matched I have to admit. Wouldn't it be funny though if none of their sproggs could sing ( but then again neither can she) nor play footy...!!??

Pathetic. I really pity modern kids whose "loving" parents give them moronic names. In our local paper a couple christened their new son Jay Jay, I bet he'll love it when he is 50!

not sure I understand the fuss, Cruz is a fairly normal Spanish name, they live in Spain and may do for a long time the kid is likely to grow up as much with Spanish influences than English, so a Spanish name is pretty logical.

Could have called him JESUS if they'd wanted a controversial name, common enough in the Spanish world.

There are some parents who should be prosecuted for cruelty for some of the names they inflict on their children.

Given the trend in the last 10 or 15 years to give sprogs "individual" or fashionably unfashionable names, anyone seeking a worthwhile career could do worse than train as a therapist.

Whatever your feelings about the Beckhams (or the Geldofs and Martins and various other celebrity sadists), they deserve to be sneered at for caring more about the newspaper headlines their sons' names have garnered than the feelings of the boys of having to live with the names.
