As far as I'M concerned, Mike Riley the ref at todays game between Chelsea and Liverpool deserves an OBE for his services to the game for.........
1) NOT awarding Liverpool a cast iron penalty
2) NOT sending Frank Lampard off for his late tackle on Alonso
3) Telling Jamie Carragher to 'shut up' when whinging about the Tiago deliberate handball
Nice one Mike!!!!

Nice to see that you are honest about it though.
I'm a Liverpool fan myself and watched it in a pub with my Chelsea mate who genuinely thought that Chelsea where the better side and he thought thoroughly deserved to win.
He either had too much beer last night or knows nothing about football. Maybe a combo of the two.
That said it's how you win Championships, grinding out 1-0 ers away from home when you are second best and Chelsea will go on to win the Championship in my humble opinion.

Don't forget his sterling performance in the Merchandise Utd v Arsenal game, where he bottled out of sending off Ferdinand and Neville, then gave a dodgy pen to Manure.
He's single-handedly going to win the title for Chelski.

I agree with you ace, but just look at the arsenal game the other day when ashley cole was playing volley ball in the penalty area and he got away with it, makes a change for refs to give chelsea a break.
care free, wherever....

You definitely do.
Carragher was guilty himself of an obvious handball against Norwich on Monday and got away with it. Didn't see him complaining then.
