Given the choice between elevator music,natural sound or silence

Silence is easily the worst IMHO or am I just talking out of my ass as per usual?

Having encountered all three on various Fiona Cooper tapes, sound (even punctuated by several elephants in Doc Martens running up and down the stairs) is much the best option. Silence is uncomfortable, but sometimes preferable to Phil the creep's choice of music.

I know exactly what you mean by peripheral noise

I've found Classical music is more preferable to any other music

2 scenes i watched recently showed the girls-mid performance talking to who ever was behind the camera-cardinal sin.Only for a few seconds but pretty well somes up the amateur nature of the productions

Suppose it comes down to the girls voices and how competent they are at
acting

The drop dead gorgeous Wendy Cooper on V860 was perfect and showed what could be done. It helped that her voice alone could reduce a bloke to a quivering mess. Much the same could be said for the luscious Chanta Rose.

The sound fade outs on some tapes, though, I now find rather sinister. Better to hear the voice giving directions (as you can on some Amanda Charles' tapes, for example) rather than suspecting the worst.

That annoys the hell out of me to be honest
As for the sinister side of FC-never enters into my mind
Mind you I've only ever forked out for 1 film of theres and that was before the bombshell dropped

Its almost come to the stage where your better buying a certain Producers
work than by a performers name given the over saturation of the market
