The Star are arseholes - this from Lucy herself on her own site -
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok, I feel my true fans need an explaination about what the Daily Star have printed today.
I shot my calendar over 2 months ago now, and to cater for all of you guys, I did a couple of pictures in which some nipple was on display. These calendar pictures were then shown, with out my knowledge, to the picture desk at the star yesterday, due to apparently recieving hundreds of text messages about the page 3 group photo that was in yesterdays star, the Star were keen to buy these particular shots to promote my calendar............. so we were told.
I passed the news stand this morning to see 'Lucy Pinders first proper topless shoot', and immediately knew that what would be inside was a fabrication of how the daily star have finally got me to reveal all, and surprise surprise practicaly no mention of the calendar.
At the end of the day I am extremely pleased with my calendar shots, and the pictures are not the problem for me, they are not what I would personally consider to be fully topless page 3 pictures, there is no more or less in these pictures that I haven't shown before, and with out the tacky write up, I don't believe the amount of nipple on show would be an issue, and if I was a fan I think I'd feel pretty pissed off at the star for yet again falsely advertising these.
So I am very dissapointed, to say the least, in the way in which the Daily Star have sensationalised these pictures to try and take some sort of credit for 'getting my top off', when infact they are no more revealing than two pictures that have previously been in the star.
The editorial makes out that I 'buckled under pressure' and rushed off to do these pictures, when infact they were shot over two months ago specifically for my calendar, my choice, you all know by now I don't just do what other people tell me.
I know many of you who have followed my career from the start will be thinking 'she knows how they work, this was bound to happen, why doesn't she tell them to stick it', at the end of the day I have learnt from this, and other incidents throughout the last year, and I now have a very different view on how and who I work with.
I am just very dissapointed that these calendar pictures have been used in this tacky, false way.
But forgetting todays drama's, I can assure you the calendar is looking good and I think you'll all be pleased with the final result.
And I am not planning to do my REAL, first ever topless shots just yet.
Much love and thanks for your support,
Lucy xxx
O/Tish, A Nipple, Ms. Pinder..!
Re: O/Tish, A Nipple, Ms. Pinder..!
This is all so pathetic. There are newsgroups apparently devoted to getting vidcaps of "nipslips". Why don't those guys go out and get a life.

A woman can be sexy and glamourous whether she shows her nipples or not - a sexy pose in a well chosen outfit can be far more erotic and suggesting than someone just whipping there tits out. Tease is a big part of eroticism and clearly this girl has generated a lot of interest by teasing people in this way.

Because there such a thing as concepts that are not mutually exclusive
