Next week sees the long-awaited release of the new album by Essex extreme noise terrorists The Prodigy with live shows to follow. It will certainly be good to have the local lads done good back on the scene, it's been seven years too long!!

I've had it on MP3 for a month and a half. Very good. In fact, I'm listening to it now. More like the Dirt Chamber stuff than old skool Flint, though. Don't know who the female vocalist is, but there are some guest appearances.

I wish I was computer savvy enough to be into this whole MP3 scene but, being a thicko, I still have to wait until release day to get it. Walking into a shop and scanning the shelves for the latest release by a favourite band is one of life's great little moments though!

Uh? I've not heard that one, I doubt it though as The Prodigy is just one bloke these days although the others are going to be back in the fold for the live shows so I'm told.

Quality-wise, I find a lot of MP3s are the modern equivalent of taping off the radio as a nipper. And like that you never feel like you actually own it without the proper sleeve and packaging either. Quite good for the odd lost track or curio, but generally a massively overrated phenomenon.

The new album, i thought was utterly dissapointing, especially after the classic Fat Of The Land.
I thought that after all this time they could produce an album to better it....sadly they cant.
I do agree, the new album is very much like the dirt chamber sessions.
