If he was he'd presumably have an easy-access backflap to his hard drive.

Proof if ever it was needed that shite always rises to the surface, tospot blair has nominated this human turd as our next eu commisioner, what a fucking joke.
What is it with the us & the eu? we currently have kinnock ( & his family) together with patten, lining their pockets before retiring into obscurity.
I reckon the kinnocks must be creaming off about ?1m a year between them,
Before these nomarks we had woy (claret) jenkins & leon britain, ever hear of him now? failed uk politicos all of them
I believe that mandellson will be paid, not the careful avoidance of the word earn, ?165k basic plus expenses & allowances giving a total of about ?350k-?500k, not bad for cunt who is totally discredited in uk politics, I reckon blair has an ulterior motive.
geoff

Given his record of lying and deception Mandy should fit in very well with the EU.

One thing most people forget is that the Millenium Dome was first started by the Tories (remember Heseltine in his hard hat casting his eye over the structure).

When Labour took office the cancellation clauses in the contracts were so punitive that it was cheaper to let it carry on being built. Even with all the money that has already been spent it's still cheaper than if the government had cancelled the project.

The PAC went mad when this was all "discovered" back in about 2002.

I agree the content of the exhibition was crap, but you can't blame Mandelson for building the thing!

In fact when the contracts were let to get business onside Labour were involved in and signed up to the contracts before they were in power . This was because the election was on the horizon , and the straws in the wind showed Labour would be the next Government . So it was total and expensive fuck up in that way that only Britain can do , but please responsibilty where its deserved and thats both parties .
Now , if we get the Olympics , oh how we will wish for a SNAFU that is only the size of the Dome .

Absolutely, both the Tories and Labour are to blame for the cost of the project, and Labour for not having any idea what to do with the bloody thing!

Quite a few big companies made a lot of money out of the project, gave a few nice donations to the politicos and got gongs in return!

Maybe I should put in a bid to hold my parties there!

What, like C3PO?

I'm sure he's blackmailing Tone. Why else would he keep getting pushed into jobs after being discredited.
