One for the techie types out there...
I worked for four years on an Apple iMac and loved the function where you get a screen grab simply be highlighting what you wanted with the cursor, pressing one of the F buttons (I forget which) and ahve the grab saved to the hard drive.
But now.... I'm on a laptop running Windows XP and have no idea to get a screen grab - is there an easy way of doing this?
Thanks in advance.

I believe you have to paste the image into Photoshop or whatever.
I never use it because it has such a small capacity. I use Hypersnap.

The way to do a Basic ScreenGrap in Windows (ANY Version of Windows), is to press both the ALT and Print Screen Keys, then open up Paint/PaintShop Pro/any other Paint/Art/etc Program & Paste it into the program, save the File, then you have the screen grab u wanted.

Thanks for the help guys.
The ALT and Prt Scrn fucntion does indeed work although not that you'd know anything about it.
The same function on an Apple makes a very satisfying 'crunch' noise to let you know you've saved the image - in Windows nothing happens at all to let you know.

Alt-PrtScrn for the current window
Ctrl-PrtScrn for the whole desktop

You can also paint it into a word document if you don't have any paint stuff
