Moths are stupid. They go out a night, looking for light. Why not just go out in daylight, there's plenty of it there.

I don't think the moth would have any trouble flying straight through
In fact I hear its a well known resting place/landing & take off strip for migratory insects of all kinds

Well, he often has bees in his bonnet (when they're not in the infamous can, of course), so I can't see there'd be a problem with Lepidoptera.
Or albatrosses, for that matter.

Them things are dumb fucking stupid creatures, they have 0 Braincells. Everytime 1 of them bastards gets in my place, i splatter the bastard with whatever's handy LOL.
After spending the summer weeks, trying to let the bastards out, only to fly straight back in, when i let them go, when i was a child, now the fuckers DIE!!!

...well, if we splattered every creature that passed us by just because of that, London would be depopulated by half overnight.
At least moths are harmless and pretty, however irritating. My spleen is reserved for wasps/houseflies/bluebottles, the evil six-legged bastards. And Jehovah's Witnesses, of course.
