Iraq and beyond.........

It,s wierd how many 'religous' fanatics, and anti US islamic extremists, all over the middle East, somehow all seem to wear Nike and other American brand trainers, it must be the extremist murderer,s 'shoe' of choice. After all this time the war in Iraq has been going, I am now of the opinion that weather or not the co-alition should have invaded Iraq, there is cleary a large group of Islamic extremists, who will murder anybody who sympathisis with the USA or any of it,s allies. So we have a choice! we can all live under the rule of the Mullhas and religious fanatics, who care nothing about anyone that doesn,t follow them (including ordinary Palastinians) or we can fight, no matter what it takes, to live the life we in this and other free countries love so much, ie freedom of expression, the right to come and go as we please, and generally do what we like, including watching porn films, I do not want to live in a society where I am forced to pray, and loose my own freedom and right of speech, waiting for the knock on my door to tell me the 'party of god' would like a 'word with me' as I offended someone down the mosque by forgetting to take my shoes off!

very well put Lizard. Extreme religious beliefs is a very convenient reason for thugs and terrorists to ply their erroneous trade.

Indeed not, O Scaled One: I believe your Good Friend Ossifer Drivel made this Very Point, in this Very Place, some while ago- to wit, and namely, that these extremists seem perfectly happy to have all our Nice Western Goodies like medical advances and PlayStations and Income Tax, while attempting to introduce a system* where any such would never have seen the light of day, due to as how all the Inventors would be too busy bowing and praying and eating mud, so that when they finally got home from a hard day's Demonstrating at the Evil West, they'd be too shagged out to Invent anything.
Anyway, what about that Mrs Tiggywinkle? Total arse, eh?

*although none of these zeebs have ever actually explained how this Dictatorship of the Shariat would actually work: a bit like the US invasion, they don't know quite what would happen AFTERWARD. And any keen student of history knows t's always the AFTERWARDS that causes the problems.

Which is the why I term it Lifestyle Choice: it's a fashion fad for idle youth without the wit to think (or occasionally the opportunity to find out the truth) for themselves.
They have no ideology other than terrorism, and a hatred of the west for being different.

I can recommend alfalfa sprouts and mung beans, really gets the gases flowing.
Also pls feel free to nick Dib's truncheon, no-one could blame you, you'd no jury would convict, and what ABOUT that Mrs Tiggywinkle, eh? Eh?

Couldn,t agree with you more Magg,s we should keep well out of other peoples affairs and countries, but we are past masters at deciding how other countries should be run, and by who, we should spend more time getting this one right, as in an article in the paper today, where a nigerian nurse said, he could always get a Doctor and a nurse 24/7 in his own country, and that our health system was incredibly poor.

She might be, she's prickly enough for one.
