What exactly can the likes of Ebay do if you welch on a deal.
I purchased an item off there only to find that the guy selling them was know on a forum elsewhere as someone who sells bad quality and often damaged goods. So i didnt pay him.
Now Ebay are sending me emails saying i have to pay up or else, blah, blah, blah.
Any advice appreciated.

If you bought the goods off someone within the United Kingdom and Purchased with your credit card you are covered under what is called the "Distance Selling Act Of 2000).

Now there are a few exclusion's which will not cover you under this act they are Software (any type), and Food Stuffs.

If Ebay are getting heavy with you i would

(a) Try to make contact with the seller and Complain.

(b) If that does not help i would go through the procedure with Ebay regarding bringing a complaint against the seller for miss describing the product or service, DON'T IGNORE any communication though as you have entered into a legally binding contract.

Ebay are cunts. They are quick to get arsey when you haven't paid within 14 days, BUT can't be arsed if you get your brought items 'lost' in the post or complain that the stuff you have brought is crap. I sold a Red Bull fridge for ?150 and they were VERY quick to take their commission.

They take your manhood in a darked alleyway with their gang of bum rapers.

They cut your bellend off and smear the little stump with salt.

They force you to find skinny, wriggly women with plastic tits and tats attractive.

They make you talk like David Beckham.

Email Ebay back and tell them to go fuck themselves or that the payer has died in a tragic accident involving a turkey and a packet of party poppers.

I would never use e-bay, it,s an electronic version of Loot, full of scams, con artists, blaggers and dodgy fuckas............of course thats just my opinion!
they always have a get out clause, it,s never their fault, they just provide the platform.......bla.bla,bla............I hope the whole site gets trashed, and goes bankrupt. and another thing, it,s not always cheaper anyway.

it took me ages to register and when i did i was very dissapointed,the records vids etc are very overpriced ,i dont bother with them now.

Stevie is correct about the 'bargains' you get, VERY over-priced.
