I'll be in London from weds 19th until late evening on the 20th... I'm "otherwise engaged" on a shoot during the afternoon of the 19th and I'm simply "otherwise engaged" between 9am and midday on the 20th - oh and rule me out from 330pm ish until 5pm ish - but if any forumites fancy a beer when I AM available - drop me a line...

Bimmercat, given the history (especially nuke tests in the Pacific) you?ll be hard pressed to find anyone supporting Frenchie over here.

The main bulk of objections relating to the visit of the simian one, are easy to understand. This is the first state visit of a US leader since Woodrow Wilson immediately after WW1.

Personally, I can?t see anything worth celebrating?

Thats where your wrong Steve56...media coverage of such events is always harmful to the government of the day especially in an election year

Peace protests make politicians take notice because they are also voters

See how George Bush is trying to get out of IRAQ as quickly as possible

Reason-an election is looming and dead American soldiers every other day doesn't make for a great election platform.Add a massive peace protest like the ones pre-invasion and George will sink like the titanic in the election

cheers
