Aparently all three members were up for it but Foxton's Mullit wasnt in shape and so Weller pulled out .............. lol

Have you ever heard a Limey band called the Vipers ? Had a small hit called Turning Japanese ........ It always sounds more Jam than the Jam, to me .

Dont you live in Texas ? One of my fave bands was from Austin ...
ever heard any 13th Floor Elevators ? largely ignored in the States ,totaly missed in the UK . Amazing and to this day one of the most original sounding bands.

The Fox album 'For Fox Sake' I just got a copy reissued by Bam Caruso ?
welll worth the Dollars ,really good British Psych .

Ever Heard Caleb Quaye's 'Baby Your Phrasing Is Bad' he went on to play with Elton John ?

in 84 the fox appeared on the bamcaruso comp the 49 minute technicolour dream butterfly was the track,caleb were on it too the other side of the single was called woman of distintion
