Its not too difficult to make links clickable.
I don't quite follow the connection between the poll result and your statement. And where do you get your ideas about the BBC?

1. 'How many suicides slash their wrists AND take sleeping pills?'
Those very intent on suicide, perchance? with pressurising someone so quickly and fiercely into such a state being the real crime? It shouldn't have happened either way.
2. In (slight) defence: BBC NorthWest covered the docker's strike quite extensively but, yes, as you infer, their National coverage was threadbare to say the least.

Yep the dockers strike went on for months, they had a caravan outside and a little fire going in a metal bin, used to pass them most days when travelling to uni.
BBC news is rather on the whole shite, the website is alright but the TV news is so dumbed down it's kind of insulting.
Now and again the BBC do a special report which is good, but when the report is too good like the Isreali scientist who in the 80's travelled to london and produced conclusive evidence to the Guardian newspaper that Israel were secretly developing nuclear weapons contrary to International law. The israelis used a honey trap (Israeli secret agent/femme fetale) to lure the poor guy to a far off country, as soon as he checked into his hotel room instead of lots of sex with this stunning girl he was beaten then drugged and secretly shipped back to Israel. He was then tried in secret and has been in solitary confinement ever since...he is still in jail now. This report was scheduled to broadcast at something like 7pm, at the last minute it was cancelled and then rescheduled a couple of weeks later to broadcast sometime around midnight...when there would be lots of viewers (not). I wish I could remember his name, programme was on a few months ago, poor guy.
Channel 4 news wipes the floor with the BBC.
