A newer character called Laurie Driver is quite amusing --- though not to the knights of the road. Getting told off because he had exceeded the EU recommended load of murdered women in the back of his truck, having his engine tuned until it could clearly be heard to say "Kill all whores." Terrible, suggesting all long distance lorry drivers are serial killers.

Best character is perhaps Raffles the Gentleman Thug, though I suspect Jack Black and his dog Silver is a slightly fictionalised account of Officer Dibble's early days. And every so often Viz rips the piss out of the publishers of the Dandy and Beano.
