An Islay malt in the winter. A 16 y.o. Lagavulin fair warms ye up 
A Highland malt like The Macallan just to have around the house.
And for that special occasion ... Ardbeg, another Islay but much smoother. I particularly like the 17 y.o.
Oh, and it's always handy to have some Glenfiddich around in case there are any novices paying a visit.
Mostly I just drink cheap continental lager these days. Never, however, under any circumstances do I drink Bacardi ... ever! It gie's me the boak!
... except last Thursday

....whatever happened with that story about counterfeit vodka being sold in the N-West? Some mother went temporarily blind, I recall..........
