Question for female talent

As a punter, this strikes me as a fairly logical question that I'd like to ask to the talent. Although I appreciate that "real life" and "work" are obviously going to collide at some point, but it's a question I think is fair to discuss, just to give me a more "industry" view of the topic.
Why do girls go into hardcore porn, it they're not willing to work with male partners who aren't their real-life partner/husband?
Looking at the larger names of the UK industry now, Michelle B has returned and she's not willing to film any scenes with any male talent beyond her personal partner. Likewise, Michelle Thorne and Angel Long won't work with any male partners beyond their current partners, especially noticeable in Michelle's case given the recent Shebang shows where she's working in 3sums with a girl and Kane Turnah, yet not prepared to do anything with/to Kane.
It's confusing, why bother to go into "hardcore" porn if you're only willing to work with your personal partner? Why not just stick to either softcore/solo or lesbian work?

I'll answer instead then. Most girls in the skin trade have no other means of making the kind of money they want to make. The average person in the country is making after tax maybe 250 - 300 pounds a week, a bit more if you live in London, and since most girls who do porn don't live in London anyway employment opportunities are even lower.
What would you do if you were a girl, would you work in a fish factory for 40 hrs and take home ?260 or do a scene with your partner and both you and your partner bag ?500, tax free most likely? Only a very few girls in porn have the brains to do anything except sell their bodies for sex and still make enough money. Hope that answers your question.

BB you missed the point of Rex question altogether
"Why do girls go into hardcore porn, it they're not willing to work with male partners who aren't their real-life partner/husband?"
Since two days have passed and this is a forum I will first apologise to Rex for answering the so far unanswered.
I consider my view to be industry oriented (since Im in it) and deal with a lot of girls both here and in europe, new and established who choose to work with their partners exclusively...and so without further to do
There may be several motivational reasons for this but I've found the main one is when certain models get fed up of getting treated for STDs, comfort (who wouldn't want to work with someone they l've rather than just work with new and strange people?), in the event they are married they would rather be found out for doing porn than upsetting their family being seen in scenes with many different men...This is not a blanket explanation as it depends which girl you ask they will all have their own reasons
I've always said that if money is your sole purpose for doing porn then you will ultimately sell yourself short as no matter how much money you earn you will still be held with the same contempt (or regard). You're only fooling yourself if you think because you make a lot of money that the end justifies the means. Do it because you love it and you'll come out of it all the better for it

Some times it's just not worth the hassle 'cos it's not always easy to get guys.. And I can understand that some models (like me) are only wiling to work with reliable, certed good looking guys, those that can perform and can undertake the scenario in every aspect that's required. including turning up! Unfortunately the number of guys IMHO that fit in that category is pretty small.. and yes before someone else says it, you can probably say the about some female models too!

I didn't miss the point of his question. Perhaps my answer wasn't clear enough. The point I was getting at was that a girl who had previously done BG but is no longer prepared to do it because she now has a partner to consider will do porn with that partner rather than opt out of porn alltogether since opting out presents the problem of making money by another means, which is often difficult for an ex-porn starlet with no qualifications.

My apologies BB. That is an alternative take on it. Quite a logical one now you mention it.
I wouldnt play too much on the lack of qualifications. I know of a few girls over the years that graduated from uni with flying colours. There are also a number of ex teachers in this business but ask me no questions I will not tell you any lies.
I would say the ratio was higher amongst those who had qualifications compared to those who dont

Most girls who go to uni do so after a career in porn. For example, Sarah Young who studied law. Renee Richards is now studying something but she wont reveal what. No doubt you know. Some girls probably lied to you when they say they have uni qualifications. What girl is going to risk a grad career just to do a few scenes?
What I find a bit ironic is that a girl who has devoted her life to what amounts to extreme promiscuity will in the end have to rely on some bloke to bale her out by marrying her and being the main breadwinner. He might not agree to that if she doesn't stop screwing others.

In summary I think it's less a voluntary decision on the girl's part to stop screwing others and more an ultimatum from her partner.
