I have about 50% of a terrible copy of this film.

It is top quality erotica from the mid to late eighties
and the girls are delectable.The first scene centres on
a seductive game of chess.
Can anyone please furnish any more details about the film

The seductive game of chess rings a bell - I remember seeing a softcore version of this scene and also one set in the Garden of Eden I think in the same film where the girl tries to tempt the bloke with an apple but he resists until she says "How about a quick fuck then?"

However, I have no idea what it was called and where it came from - probably reneted it.

Both the Chess and the Garden of Eden scenes were in the 1987 film 'Who Bears Sins' which also featured clips from Hazel O'Connor's nude past. Each scene was linked by clips from the Crazy Horse (in Paris). Released by Intercontinental Corporation, director named as David Hamilton Grant - although as it was clips from various other sources the term 'director' was most likely an exaggeration.
