it has always been against the law, but i have had then from the above many times !!

Gents,
My understanding is as follows.
I could be wrong.
You cannot despatch any hardcore dvds from within the UK.
But thanks to the EU,you can order them from abroard.

As posted it always has been illegal.
VHS used to get trapped from time to time probably more by staff who intercepted a bulk posting or recognised certain packaging than to prosecute the sender.
I have had items sent recorded delivery go missing. Initially the tracking number was found on the website then ' mysteriously ' was deleted so obviously a inside job.
Now with post more automated and DVD's less risk.
From what I have heard / read any prosecutions have been by police/trading standards for counterfeit copying or selling non-certified material rather than by Royal Mail for posting it, assuming of course the sender could be traced.
