I went to Tenerife last February with 3 models to shoot and will probably be going to Lanzarote in March with more models. Before we went last year I researched this subject a great deal.

In a nutshell maninland Europe doesn't really get warm enough to shoot until around April. If you wish to shoot Jan-March the nearest place that is warm enough at that time of year is The Canaries.

We generally hire a private villa for a week so that gives us lots of privacy and plently of options. Generally shoot in the villa for the first 3-4 days until that's done and then look for quiet locations for the remaining 2-3 days.

We did both Tenerife and Fuerteventura in 2010 so guess it's Lanzarote this year!

Have contact there, took me to lots locations just outside the city just b4 xmas. Easy to get isolation esp if rocky type shores work for you.
