To be fair new year is new year, like christmas is christmas and your birthday is on your birthday if its february....june.. even late jan then its not new year is it,
they have not had a site update for ages so thet better get it up soon.
half arsed,if someone takes there idea (which is all they have going with the tv babes) they are dead in the water

I see what you mean but in this case new year is most likely any time between January and December with a serious nod towards middle to end 2010.......
If you read the pre amble on the sign up it says they want to take it to the next level - succeeded if the level they meant was down; not a patch on Killergram for quality, updates and quantity
Maybe expect the site to die this year?

Re: count down to new bluebird site
its just strange for a company to hold back a product thats in demand so much so that it angers its customers,
Re: count down to new bluebird site
Agreed - they say there are issues with the IT or something (guessing they've all gone on their holidays until at least next week).
Maybe there's more to it than that - just not very good or they use a lot of stock filmed in the US (apparently) so maybe a licence issue of some sort or hoping to build customer frenzy...... bit of an own goal as it's pissing the paying customers off though
Who knows? Just don't hold your breath!

It was previously announced that PRIVATE will handle the exclusive management of Bluebird's content distribution worldwide using Private?s global content distribution network.
?When you?ve invested over $14M to develop your catalog, you take a good hard look before you partner with anyone to distribute it,? said Bluebird Films CEO, Nicholas Steele. ?There was simply no one with the combination of services Private offers: they have a proven track record on brand management, they understand the emerging channels across the world, they fathom the particularities of producing content for a global audience, and, with Gamelink, they are leaders in online distribution. Initially, our intention was to carry out the distribution on our own, but when we saw that Private has a suite of top-notch services and its global distribution network ready to go, time to market, quality and reach were the deciding factors for us.?

Bluebirds partnership with PRIVATE/Gamelink provides much better value for money:
You can now download the full 5 hour movie Amy Azurra's Pyjama Party which includes the 22 min Natasha Max scene for only ?8.41, whereas the same, single Natasha Max scene costs $32.99 plus the $29.99 per month subscription fee on the Bluebird website.
