Your porn life carries on without you...

Girls who have retired from porn and have completely moved on are still current pornstars in the sense that scenes they made are still sold, compilation DVD's are still put together and marketed, and people still talk about them online. I wonder if the girls concerned ever think about that. Someone like Laura Hermansen, who quit in 2003 and, presumably, is now living a life totally differnt from what she used to do, is still 'around'.
The number of movies listed starring Laura on here has increased from 69 to 71 recently, obviously those 2 new ones arent 'new' but are newly compiled compilations. She is still talked about as a pornstar (like I'm doing here) yet she is gone from the porn world as far as her present life is concerned. Enter Laura Hermansen into Google Images and hundreds of hardcore photos appear. It must be strange for someone to have put the whole thing behind them yet the whole thing is still current.
I heard Laura's old pal Melissa Walker got jailed, I wonder if Laura ever thinks about her former porn pals - like Melissa, Lee Henshaw, Angel Long, etc. She probably doesn't, but as far as the internet is concerned, and the selling of porn DVD's is concerned, Laura is still an 'active' pornstar. People still make money selling her films, yet she wouldnt see a penny of it.
What do people think about this? Do you think ex-porn girls would be bothered that they are still effectively current pornstars, thanks to the internet and thanks to the owners of the rights to their movies still selling them and making money?
