I've just read the News Of The World article online. It sounds to me like she is suffering from Chronic Anxiety, sometimes called Panic Disorder. I know someone who had it and couldn't work for several years. They had difficulty going out of their front door and the Anxiety would manifest itself in differnt ways. Every day for about a year they would get this dreadful dreadful fatigue where it wasn't like just being extremely tired it was like they had been drugged. Then for some reason that stopped and the Anxiety manifested itself in the form of feeling very very withdrawn inside themself to the point of not being about to see straight and barely knowing where they were. Jo seems to have at least one of these symptoms. I wish her all the best.

Just read the article in the pub. Poor girl. Anxiety, stomach issues and mounting debts as she can't work. Such a shame - one of my fave ever glamour models and always came across as such a genuine woman.

GLAMOUR legend Jo Guest's life is in ruins after a mystery disease destroyed her looks and career and forced her to sell her G-strings on eBay at ?2 a pop.

The illness makes the former Page 3 favourite and lads' mag cover girl so exhausted she's been unable to work for a YEAR.

Sad Jo rarely leaves her shabby two-bedroom flat in Bournemouth.
She's on a cocktail of pills to control the condition, which has caused VOMITING, ACHING limbs and a mysterious SWELLING in her stomach.
"It's been a nightmare. At first I thought I just had a virus," said Jo, 35, who lives alone with just her boxer dog Molly for company.
"I felt as though I was going to collapse one night when I was at a gig, but I just haven't got any better and this horrible lump in my stomach won't go away.
"If I'm well enough to take the dog out for a walk, that will finish me off for the rest of the day.
"The doctors haven't been able to find out what's wrong and have put me on everything from pills to stop me being sick to anti-depressants."
It's a far cry from her heyday in the Nineties, when her platinum blonde hair and her 34-24-34 figure made her as popular as Jordan is today.
She appeared with Robbie Williams on The Big Breakfast, starred in pop videos and even gave a speech to the Oxford Union after her hard-partying Budweiser-drinking ways made her the first to be given the "ladette" tag.
But that fame has disappeared along with the blonde hair and the small fortune she earned from ?10,000-a-time photo and calendar shoots.
Sitting on the threadbare furniture in her ground-floor flat?dosed up on anti-anxiety tablets Mirtazapine and worrying about where the money for the mortgage will come from?Jo revealed the lengths she has gone to just to stay afloat.
She grimaced: "I've made about ?1,000 on eBay selling things. I had to sell the nurse's uniform I wore for the Blur video of Country House first, but that only made me ?56, which is quite disappointing.
"But without that and my website I think I would have been on benefits by now. I've sold most of my G-strings because I can't get into them with this lump. It's really sad, selling them off for ?2 a time to make some money."
Her flat has been on the market for six months and she's praying it will sell soon.
"There's some money in it, so I will be able to afford to rent for a year or so when I sell it," said Jo.
Ironically, it was after she moved from her flash warehouse flat in London to start a new, healthy life by the sea two years ago that her health problems began.
She recalled: "I had the trendy flat and went to all the showbiz parties, but I wanted to get out of London. I thought living by the sea would do me good."
She had given up alcohol and cigarettes, was eating healthily and had even started jogging on the seafront when she was floored by the mystery ailment.
A year ago, at one of her last gigs, she noticed she was unusually tired and that her calves were so swollen she couldn't get into her boots.
"Then I started being sick all the time. At first I thought it was just a virus, but it just wouldn't stop," said Jo. "I was getting up and being sick all morning and having to spend the afternoon in bed.
"My muscles and joints ached like mad and then this lump came up in my stomach almost overnight. I had an ultrasound and they found ovarian cysts, but the doctors told me that a lot of women have them."
She also developed a condition called oesophagitis?inflammation of the lining of the gullet, possibly caused by the vomiting.
She said: "I've just about finished two weeks of anxiety tablets because I've been grinding my teeth with all the worry, and all the sickness gave me mouth infections."
Then running her fingers through her hair, Jo added: "I had to get rid of the blonde look, because there were just a couple of inches of blonde and then these dark roots. It looked awful."
But it's her swollen stomach that has caused her most problems.
"I used to do live camera shows on my website, but I can't do that looking like this. I can't even wear jeans. I found myself in M&S looking at the jeans with elasticated waists, but I drew the line there."
As she faces up to a tough 2008, Jo admitted she is having to do it on her own.
Despite being the fantasy girl of thousands of blokes, there's no man in her life.
"I haven't had a serious boyfriend for four years and I haven't had a date for well over a year," she said.
"To be honest, I've found relationships are more trouble than they're worth."

I found this a bit hard to believe, maybe it is the source there was a story on the main page of the same mag about a mule with a cocane habit!

There were stories she was pregnant, the 'after' pic on the news of the world site to me looks like a perfectly normal 35 year old, with a post pregnancy slight pot belly, hardly deformed.

as she mentioned the ebay sales and the link posted here 'by eppie' showed her ebay id I had a little look, late last year she did buy a number of childrens toys and vespa handle bars the last seems a bit strange for someone to sick to leave home. She also has an account with almost 1000 sales this is 4 years old and is what would be called a power seller on ebay

A simple google search on her reveals she hasn't really done much since her last retirement back in 2001 a few photo shoots for men only and the web cam stuff for sexclub is about it , the whole thing is a sales push for the ebay stuff if you want a calander for 20pounds that can be had from the official site for 7.50

Many models over the years have sold clothing etc most of this is complete BS they simply get 50 cheap outfits mark the price up 100% or more and sell they as one off's worn by the model, this con is years old and widely known in the industry
