All signs point to OFCOM!

I flicked over to Sexstation the other day for the first time in ages and it looked like they've toned it all down aswell - plucking models from Babestation / Bangbabes rather than the porn babes that they used to have. No offence to them because they all looked hot but it was obvious that they didnt want to get involved with any interaction with the other girls.

May be I watched on a bad night but you could sense that OFCOM have had a word.

Bloody OFCOM! Chelsea have just scored - blaming OFCOM for that aswell!

Hi Cherry, thanks for replying to this, so do you get a list of things that you can and can't do or do OFCOM just come and knock on House of Fun's door when you've taken it too far??

Never thought that 'interactive tv' could get so political! Censorship gone mad!

A few clues here from The Guardian

Ofcom have fined a free-to-air adult channel ?25,000 for transmitting sexually explicit material 15 minutes after the 9pm watershed.

The regulator ruled that Babeworld TV, an unencrypted channel available in the adult section of the Sky Digital satellite service, had committed "serious and repeated" breaches of broadcasting rules aimed at protecting under-18s from unsuitable material.

Babeworld TV also fell foul of Ofcom's code by inviting viewers to contact "off-screen" girls through premium-rate phone services that strayed outside the editorial content of programming.

Describing this programme, on February 12 this year, Ofcom said: The presenters were dressed provocatively in underwear and behaved in an extremely sexual manner, for example thrusting their breasts and buttocks directly at the camera and appearing to masturbate. They encouraged viewers to call them using explicit sexual language.

Just after 10pm, Ofcom noted, the presenters removed their tops and continued to act in a sexually explicit manner"

Ofcom said that the explicit sexual content ... both language and visuals was in breach of rules protecting under-18s.

The content was so explicit, and in particular the language, it was considered to be 'adult-sex' material, Ofcom said. This meant it should have been broadcast under encryption.

In deciding on a ?25,000 fine, Ofcom's content sanctions committee - chaired by former Trinity Mirror chief executive Philip Graf - said it had taken into account that Connection Makers had a "record of poor compliance". Last year Ofcom twice reminded the company of its obligations to restrict the degree of sexual content on Babeworld and to separate advertising from programme content.

i no its a joke none of the girls r happy about it, i dont see the problem we r not doing full b.g sex! whots the problem adults who have children should put a pin lock on there sky box! then under 18s would not be able to access them chanels any way! if someone sounds under age we always ask for there date of birth and get them cut off.....

It's a bloody joke

those with a sky movie subscription and even on channel 4 have seen stronger stuff

with a lot of people now having broadband at home

and parental controls not worth the hard drive space they use

Isn't it time a very serious rethink is in order

I suppose if i want something stronger

I'll just watch Sex & the City On Paramount

As I see it what happened was that someone complained to Ofcon about the explicitness of the ppv shows, Ofcon gave Sport the "gypsies warning" and they were forced to tone things down, so much so that all the eroticism was taken out of the programmes.
The last time I watches the ppv site some months ago it was so tame , the girls hardly said or did anything and it was a total waste of money. Top girls like Angel, Renee, Avalon etc were totally compromised as performers. They're now down to only one channel and they can't be getting much revenue unless it's gone harder since I last viewed. Sport are claiming that the show is "Live & Uncut". How do you cut a live show? You can censor a live show but you can only cut a recorded show. A play on words from Sport?
The f-t-a shows have also received complaints resulting in girls having to wear two pairs of knickers (or perhaps it's cold in the studio).
Ofcon have to intervene as they believe that we UK parents are incapable of policing what our kids watch so they are acting for us. I despair.
