How easy to make a film ?

I like to think I have a lot of ideas.

I perform an extremely dull day job, and thoughts wonder in and out of my mind.

Can I persuade someone as gorgeous as Renee Richards to act in a scene where she is working with a complete amateur like me filming !?

Could someone like Harmony Hex feel quite content sitting in my living room with an object inside her as she reels out my lines that I've put into a make- shift script ?

I say make-shift, but would like to think Scorsese would be quite jealous. Well, maybe a little green to a certain extent.

But that's another issue. Do UK porn viewers really want something with a little class. Ok, maybe 'class' is completely the wrong word. But something with some substance ? Seeing something 'rude' happening is enough for most people. But there must be a market/consumer out there that wants something a little different from the norm and also something that is going to stimulate as oppose to just ejaculate.

Angel Long working on a script where she seduces the viewer - not a basic POV film - is something that must be craved by a lot of us. I know for me especially. That voice and that body with a good script. Well....it would be great.

Don't get me wrong. Anna Spam does some great films. I really like her work. But does it really brdige the gap between the dreadful Playboy style musings and the kind of film that just starts and ends with arses pounding away ?

This is no disrespect to Anna Spam, who I think is a great film-maker. I'm just thinking maybe I can fill a niche to a certain extent with films with hot British girls who can act a bit.

As my name suggests, maybe Nadia in her recent DVD done a very good job of using some of a script but still making the film very arousing.

I dunno, maybe this is just all wank :)

I'd like your thoughts though.

If you could persuade Harmony to wear galoshers and a sowester and smoke a pipe then I feel you would have a unique product and a keen audience.

I dont know about persuading Renee in as much as simply asking her. Persuading makes it sound like a personal favour of sorts.

As for your ideas, without sounding patronising but every one who picks up a camera thinks exactly the same as you but then ends up with the same similar results and the fans dont see it any different to what she may have done already. I've seen and heard the best ideas laid to waste because the reality is not what it is likein the fantasy/ thought process.

Angel for one has a varied body of work outside of just the mere ass pounding

Oh and Anna Span is not Anna Spam. That name makes her sound like some internet terrorist. LOL

Still, all the best with your endeavour. I might be totally wrong and you might be the next Michael Ninn for all I know.

US hardcore movies from the 70s mostly all had stories and were shot on film, featuring numerous 'stars' who originally trained as mainstream, not adult actresses. There was a market for those films and still is. But not as big a market/profit as there is from cheaper shot video.

I guess what the critics would dub the classy end of the adult market now paradoxically doesn't involve plots or wordy scripts much at all, but rather style as a substitute for the higher production costs and thoughts of worthiness. Andrew Blake and Michael Ninn movies are big on gloss, short on words usually.

You may make a fucking brilliant film but no-one will know until you put your money where your mouth is and do it. Make a film and ask us what we think of think and we, your audience, will tell you. Sit and dream about it and you're just one in a million dreamers.

I suppose. But at the same time it's quite worthwhile asking the opinions of people in the know. Be they potential viewers, producers or Actresses/Actors.

I think simply making a film without even asking if there is a market out there etc. would be a good way of flushing at least ?700 down the toilet !

Damn. I'm quite annoyed at the bin men now. Not only did they sell on my invention of Zero Cola, but they now have passed on to you my film ideas.

Plus the gits only turn up twice a week.

Thanks for the advice.

Apologies to Anna Spar also :)

?700 lol ........You'll need deeper pockets than that. what about your location, models, editing?
BBFC cert costs around 2K a pop! otherwise your film won't see the light of day.
