Just wanted to say what a great night the UKAP awards was. With the time allowed I think Phil and his associates did a great job.

It was a shame that the wanker Guardian journalist wrote such a scathing report about the event, but what else could you expect from the mainstream media.

I hope that this becomes a regular event.

I couldn't find a reply link or opinion link to that wankers report in the Guardian (if anybody can post the link on here do so, so the twat will get some needed stick).
On the whole the night was indeed a great success. Ben, Kirsten & Kelly were superb throughout and coped fantasticly when things weren't going so smoothly. All the ladies were looking spectacularly gorgeous (Rene Richards had the best dress on). Well done to Phil. For a first go it was never going to be flawless but in my opinion it's here to stay and much needed.
I was there with my wonderful crew getting it all on film for ya all to be released sometime soon hopefully.

P.S. Congrats to all people nominated and all the winners. Special congrats to med old m8 Lindsey Honey. And to all those in the industry that didn't come along bcause they didn't want to. Poo, poo to you !
P.P.S. The only significant problem was that to many non industry pelbs got into the VIP after party. But again with better organisation next year these problems will be eliminated.

I wouldnt bother with all that Dave. The porn industry is what it is. We dont need to defend it.There was nothing po faced or stiff upper lip about that night at all....as those who were there can testify.

I for one am unrepentant. It was the right kind of anarchy and chaos. O'm just surprised the Guardian were expecting something with the (quote) "quiet dignity of the Oscars"

I would however, value criticisms from within the industry though.

Phil has done something very valuable for this industry and I have nothing but mad respect for him right now.

I just want to add my thanks to everyone involved in organising Friday night. I was there as a press photographer and could not have been looked after better. It was the first time I had been to an adult event and I was made to feel very welcome. Thanks to Pete for buying my collegue and myself a beer.

Please do not judge us all by the sad article in the Guardian. I have some great pictures (only some of which are useable in the national press) and I hope that if they are used they will show the industry in a positive light.

I got the names of most of the award winners and presenters but cannot remember the names of the 2 girls who provided the interesting?? table show at half time and who the presented an award in the 2nd half.
