Hi all,
I watched the news last week about the new porn violence laws the government is planning to bring in.
Where does this leave the following:
Piss vids from P1ssmops, Peelover etc
Gagging vids from TenderLovingAbuse etc
Max Hardcore type stuff
If any of the above is deemed illegal could you be done for accessing these sites in the past (e.g. previous paying member of P1ssmops etc)?
Would keeping the files downloaded from previous membership be deemed as illegal possesion?
Ultimately how would I as a consumer of porn know which websites were hosted where and what videos were legal or not?

Re: New laws
Funny enough, all these sites would probably still be OK despite many UK porn fans wanting them squashed (if you doubt that read the several threads over recent months.)
The violent sites to be outlawed seem to be the really disgusting snuff etc sites.
fHaving said all this, why, mate, do you want to look at pictures and videos of girls being humiliated? I might be being naive, but why would anyone?

If you wish to sell a DVD/video in the UK it must have BBFC certification. The BBFC take advice from the CPS as to what will be and what won't be prosecutable under the OPA. This is the measure that the new law will take as there is a defence in the law that says if it was certified by the BBFC then it does not fall foul of the law. Of course you only need this defence if material passed by the BBFC (and this cannot be obscene as defined by the OPA) could be found to be illegal under this law.
From outside the UK you have to take a chance with HM Customs whose general view is that if the BBFC would rate the film at R18 then you are OK but some shite law that has not been repealed from 1749 or something means that they can confiscate anything rated from 15 upwards.
So don't be surprised if we have a rewind back to pre-2000 porn just like current UK Broadcast.
It's all about the test of "indecent" as opposed to the test of "obscene" that we currently have.

Re: New laws
Theres more to the proposed law than some people think...IF its passed it would become illegal to have pics on your computer that are considered by the police to be "Hard" and they will decide if they are hard or not...
If you want to know more about the proposed law and how it will affect people go to
