There are so many more studios over the pond compared to here, that the opportunity to earn money is there begging the girls to go over...

Also, there are more web sites who shoot their own content but....

Due to the latest 2257 crackdown, not many UK/EU etc. models will be going over there for a while without the correct paperwork. The big players won't accept anything but a US passport and/or social security number now, plus one other form of officially US issued photo id.

I might have got the actual figures wrong but if I have I think I have underdone it rather than exaggerate it. I am sure I have seen on documentaries that somewhere in the region of 5,000 porn films are made a week in the US. And I don't mean low budget porn, this is the mainstream porn (if there is such a thing). All those studios all those films = more chances for UK models, and of course more money

I've watched a lot of behind the scenes porn documentaries, and the girls interviewed seem to view the US porn scene as a lot more professional and better paid.

But, to be fair to the UK producers, this of course is the same of hollywood too. Jude Law, Christian Bale, Racquel Weisz, Kate Beckinsale, Colin Farrell (Irish), Catherine Zeta Jones to name but a few, are all British based actors who went to the USA to further their careers and gain more exposure.

This phenomenom is not isolated to porn.

It's not different from football, blue chip companies or any other industry.
