I see that QXL are closing down the adult section on Monday.
I'm actually suprised they got away with it for so long, more pirates than the carribean.
I have to say though that it was usefull for tracing rare stuff & especially good getting ?25 dvds for ?1. Does anyone know of any other auction sites with over 18's sections.

shame really, i'd only just discovered that you could buy porn from there.
blessing in disguise i suppose, just think of the money i'll save now they're closed down.
i used to use eBid before i discovered QXL they have an adult section too althoguh i don't know if they're still up and running. it wasn't really in the same league as QXL though.

I think they have closed down due to threat of legal action.
I can't see them closing of there own free will as they were taking 20% of all adult sales so thats a shit load of money. The adult section was the only good thing on the site. If you want to buy something other than porn you go to Ebay.
Dvds which were not even out in the shops were appearing on QXL. The porn producers obviously won't like these things happening so something had to give.
Looks like the QXL traders are going to be setting up here

From what i've heard QXL have sent an email to sellers saying that from 11am Monday the over 18's section will be closing down. I think they will be stopping any new auctions from then untill everything is gone.
I also sell on QXL but i've not had an email.

About fucking time, I have wasted do much of my time, chasing down the fucking pirates on this web site.
It might seem great for the customers to be able to pick up cheap films , but for the likes of producers like myself sites like these help send us to the bankruptcy courts.
