About 15 years ago there was a video company called Paula Markham, which was similar to Fiona Cooper (it later became Astral Blue I think).

In more recent years I've noticed that there's a photographer called Paul Markham, who does a lot of work for US magazines and websites like ATK. He also has a teen site called paulmarkhamteens.com

Is this just pure coincidence, or another case of Sutcliffe/Cooper style gender-bending?

What was it with that early 90's "phase" of men renaming themselves as women in order to sell porn videos? Did they sell more videos by it? What was the thinking behind it?

"Jennifer Clifford" was actually a 65 year old man who dropped dead of a heart attack while watching Baywatch. He used to write me letters on perfumed, flowery notepaper pretending he was a 19 year old woman and signing "Love Jennifer xx".

That makes sense, the woman on the sample video claiming to be Paula looked like Janice Battersby.
