They have never been allowed to show what we would call proper Hardcore (R18), and the new code just continues to enforce this. TVX never usually show any form of "Hardcore" material, but maybe they are having a go at pushing the boundaries just a little.

Most other UK Adult channels have already done this and TVX have been very, very, very slow to follow (this may just be a very brief one off though, so don't get too excited).

I personally have given TVX a bit of a hard (no pun intended) time lately as they continually promise the "hard stuff" in their 10 minute previews/freeview but don't deliver, which will be a huge dissapointment to any new subscibers that sign up to the channel for a year on that basis.

I would hold tight and just see how things go from here. I am sure by the next live show they will go back to the usual rubbish!

We all thought that hardcore would have been able to be shown by the summer under the new code and all the signs looked positive, whilst the consultation was in progress. However, when Ofcom released the new code the signs were not good. R18 (Hardcore) will still be banned from being shown on UK Satellite subscription channels (such as TVX etc) when the new code formally goes into service on the 25th of this month.

Sorry to quash your dream. Your best bet is to save your money on subscribing to one of these channels and save up and buy a satellite that will allow you pick up European porn (or use the Internet for VOD).

Only partly true in my opinion!! The adult industry and broadcasters should have been openly supporting the right for UK citizens to recieve R18 material on the Sky platform. Nearly all broadcasters have kept the public in the dark as to if anything they are doing or have done to persuade Ofcom to relent..Including a banding together for a common course and taking Ofcom to court. They have not and do not seem to be doing so..They are as every bit much to blame as is the fake independant Ofcom that is under the governments thumb.
