Well I don't understand it. Everyone seems to think that FC closing down is just a rumour but now I've got a leaflet saying "closing down sale". Am I the only one getting these?

Never get suckered in

I've seen businesses close their doors for a 1 day only to re-open the next at the same premises. That constituted a closing down sale

Unless the prices are truly discounted then CLOSING DOWN SALE usually means nothing more than clever marketing

cheers

And considering that FC is built upon a big lie, what is Sutty's word worth?

Fiona Cooper's own website

still doesn't mention that the shop will be closed in less than two weeks from now!
Do you wonder why I am looking at the closure with more than a little suspicion?

You are right about the quality of service at FC, it has always been very good, orders are usually turned around in less than a week. However, when I found out that "Fiona" was a figment of the imagination of a bloke, I felt really let down. Sutcliffe constructed a complete fantasy around "Fiona", her daughter "Chloe" etc. There was no need for it, it was just taking the piss out of his customers. It put me right off dealing with Sutcliffe/Fiona.

I wonder if he ever saw "Psycho"? It must have had an impact on him!
