anna span, britain's first female porn director, has a one hour documentary about her airing on channel 5 tomorrow night (friday, 1st oct 11:05pm). anna tells us that it's full of juicy bits!

I think she's pretty cool. I don't usually like these sleezy documentaries but it was interesting to hear her viewpoint - a lot of which I found refreshing and in line with my own point of view.

Anna certainly knows her stuff it seems, but was it just me or was this programme a repeat?? It said Channel 5, 2003 ? some of it seemed very familiar.
Interesting to see that Anna wants to perform in front of the camera as well though, that would certainly be a winner with me.

from a punter's point-of-view, i've always found anna to be a refreshing presence, not because of her gender - although that is relevant - but more her willingness (and ableness) to be an enlightened spokeswoman for the role of women within the industry as a whole. to that end, it was interesting to see the positive effect that working with anna had on newcummer tammie lee.

of course, this is just the sort of "wimmin's" nonsense that peeves the more dinosaurian element within the biz who think a woman's proper place is in front of the camera, not behind it - but frankly, who cares?

She may be in her early-mid 30s but Anna Span in front of the cameras would be way more appealing than most current Brit porn. That genuinely confident experienced middle class professional youngish woman in hard core porn would almost certainly be a massive seller so long as she only did one film. The TV show was probably delayed as I'd've probably noticed if it had been shown already.
