I agree about the gonzo but I think a lot of what is called gonzo these days isn't (at least compared to the original gonzo such as your stuff, Ben Dover, Buttman etc). What I like about your movies is the way stuff just happens - its fun and spontaneous and the participants really show how much they are loving it. There's a really happy go lucky and bawdy athmosphere - reminds me almost of a sexual equivelent of stream of consciousness writing.

These days I feel a lot (with a few honourable exceptions) of the scenes described as "gonzo" just seem to me to be too staged, repetitive and too formulaic - they usually start with a short and usually boring bit of "interview" - inevitably the girls are almost all "19" - then you get a tired sequence with these days little or no foreplay or real intimacy (even kissing) apart from the guy trying to ram as much as possible of his cock down the girls throat and plenty of gagging, maybe a few mins of vaginal sex (often not) and then endless variations on anal and gaping anal, followed by the obligatory a to m cumshot/s. Variations might include stepping up the amout of roughness, additional guys, or additional objects (sadly also usually too focussed on anal) but its tired and sterile and a million miles away from gonzo (or even sex) even though it has that name. There's no fun, no humour, no joie de vivre, no bonhomie, no real interaction or intimacy.

Gonzo was fun and spontaneous - sure that was always partly an appearance - but even so as is clear from your films setting up things the right way and then just letting things develop led to some classic erotic moments that would not have occurred if everything was too planned.
