ok i applied to be on their books and they want me to go to an 'audition' which if you read the faq consists of pictures and video where i dont get paid. Does this seem a bit dodgy to anyone else? or do agencies do this on a regular basis to find new talent?
and they dont have a business address or phone number on there? as an agency who have been running for '11 years'

the who is? search came up with a basement flat but you can run an internet business anywhere so that doesnt ring alarm bells, the lack of address, phone number, models! on the site does!
i found the link to this site on here someone said it gave good advice? maybe they ave worked with the 'agency'?

Well, I've never heard of them, nor has anyone I've come into contact with mentioned them to me, and I reckon I'd know them if they were a big outfit.

Bottom line, they don't let people come to see them at their 'studios in Central London', so they won't take applications in person. Does that mean they don't have an office, then?

I'd follow Ghostdog's advice and walk away unless you hear glowing reports from other girls.

Of course, if the guys in question fancy inviting Mayfair along to prove they're genuine and above board, well I'd be happy to retract my doubts.

i emailed them stright back saying no models on yr site, no address, no phone number and you want me to travel to you work for pictures and a video im not getting paid for no way!

If it is any help to you:

I have never heard of them.
Normal model agencies give a phone number.
Lack of a portfolio.
No credibility re history, names etc.

Take with large dose of salt & if you are a potential performer, go to an established agency or approach producers directly.

I have been in the business for over six years and it is not hard to find somebody who has worked for me, I have found multi jobs for or just find out about all my side's of the company on the net.

I have never heard of them, but I would walk away but ask them first to give you the name of one of their producers that they find talent for that you can contact, then email me direct or ask on the board here if anybody as heard of them.

Also strange that they have NO provision on their site for photographers/producers to contact them for details of all the models they have on their books......I would be vary wary.......but happy to be proved wrong!
