The UK being so much smaller than the States is the reason for the lack of new faces... A model can go to LA from Smallville, mid America, make a few porn movies make some $$$ and no one at home would notice.

A model friend of mine is on the front cover of a girlie mag this month and had heart failure when I told her, as she knows someone she knows will see it.. Another model appeared in a classy Indian mag and they made out she was a porn star and not glamour model.. She went in to hiding for 3 months as her brother wanted to kill her.. As one who's but a few groovy box covers together in my time I find that if you can put a 'top class' model on the front cover, a model who retains some mystique, or put her at the top of the credits, it will guarantee success. Sadly, there are hardly any models of the necessary caliber about nowadays. Not convinced by this ?fresh-faced? thing Tomsk. If I put fresh faces on a box cover I know no one would buy it. The punters I know are just not interested in, bland, uninteresting, nobodies who haven?t got a clue about glamour class or style. At the moment it seems we are drowning in a sea of uninteresting skinny birds who'll drop their Asda white cotton knicks or take a triple anal with the disinterested nonchalance of a ?10.00 street girl. I find that kind of thing is just not doin' it for the punters who are keeping' their chequebooks firmly buttoned.

New girls are fine, but nowadays they need to be very special, dazzling even, to attract punters attention in the current ocean of porno dross. They need to retain some mystique. If I could prescribe myself a porno dream formula it would consist of very classy glamorous young ladies, classy mature ladies, a liberal sprinkling of (real) big tits 'n' bums. Interesting outfits and lingerie and no sign of the 'porn trash' look that infects almost every contempary adult movie produced nowadays i.e. absolutely no body amendments apart from pierced ears. I'd have commercial confidence in a movie like that.

well said Tomsk. The worst offender is Omar. Nice try and enderes himself to porn fans, but 'some' of the gals he uses look like second rate that wouldn't pass a Ben Dover audition, making them second division. As a result, I usually press the FF button. He does get it spot-on with the likes of Suzy Haines and Tracey Williams, but not enough to get me from buying his product on a regular basis

I have held and expressed this opinion for many years - the UK industry is dying purely because of a severe lack of new GOOD male and female talent.

I for one am tired of buying UK porn and seeing the same girls and guys over and over and over again - to make it worse nothing puts me off more than a new girl coming along and its one of two or three guys who are shagging her! Its like going to the cinema and every single movie starring the same bloke!

To top it off the "quality" of girls in this country is not up to much either - there are only two or three girls in the UK who I would ever even consider spending my money on and the rest are, at best, very average but more realistically mediocre.

You are right. Any model being photographed or video'd knows that someone will see her at some point. I was not naive to that.

I knew I was going to be inside the magazine. However it came as a shock to C myself on the cover as the featured model, especially since I did this shoot over a year ago and had completely forgotton about it.
