yeah, because of course the bbc should have it on as breaking news....silly me. how would they report it on the national ten o'clock news. how could a producer/reporter go to his editor and say, 'i've got a story boss, in america a porn actor has contracted hiv, and as a result has shut down the whole industry. any chance you could fit it in somewhere, i know we need to cover the increasing problems in iraq, the visit to america by bliar, the 'throwing in the bin' of the middle east road map, oh and the eu constitution referendum' editors have greater prioritys mate. besides the story was covered on news24 very early on. i did not see the story last night, but no doubt it was a more in depth look at how the situation has been handled/managed in the last 2/3 weeks the breakout happened.

oh and look out for a newsnight feature on this very soon.....i've seen the rushes

Nothing to do with it being top priority.. It was almost at the end and it just said that two US porn stars had been found to be HIV positive and it showed a dead film set due to the shut down.. In all about 1.5 minutes max.. Cosidering the size of the adult biz in the States and the revenue generated, I would have thought something would have been mentioned sooner..

What I also find funny is the Mail on Sunday's story about John Birt and Pay Pal..And how Pay Pal process for porn sites, which is something it stopped when taken over by EBay.. DUH.. Maybe the odd porn business will slip the net but the article made out that PayPal were another CCBill or IBill.. Typical UK press.. Is it any wonder that when a tv company posts here looking for help they get flamed !!!

Now is Dean the famed Allan of UK Sweet...Some of the spelling is as poor as his...hmmm.. I love anon posters who pop up from nowhere :)
