BT,

Escorting and the database are two completely separate issues though?

You agree that "all an online cert system will be able to do is identify those who may have an sti after an outbreak occurs".

Well to me that is a pretty good reason to do it, even if that was the only reason!

What about eradicating fake certs, do you agree that we would be in a safer place with the database for that reason also?

Escorting is as much a reality to this business as STI's and HIV.

I agree that NO DATABASE will ever eradicate any of those issues.

However it does have benefits, that is progress and that is worth fighting for... in my opinion.

Brutal Truth,
You can mention escorting on the UKAP general forum , almost all subjects are allowed as long as they are constructive. Why don't you post over there with your concerns and possible solutions and start a debate.

I have just thought of another issue....

Medi-Lab never asked me to produce any I.D to prove I am who I say I am. The G.U clinic asked me to produce I.D before testing me. The point I am trying to put across is that those results from Medi-Lab may not be the results of the performer who's name is on the paper! At least with the G.U, you are providing your I.D to prove you are who you say you are and everything is legit.

Katie,

Why would you go and pay ?120 for your tests at Medilab and not discuss the reason why they dont take a swab up your 'back passage'? They test your RNA from your blood, it is the most accurate form of testing going, hence no need for a swab that you need to cultivate..ffs...

I have been going to medilab monthly for over a year now, they asked me for ID the first time I went, after that I think it was safe for them to assume it was me going and not someone claiming to be me and getting his kicks from having his blood taken and handing over ?120..

If you ever have any questions regarding your tests at ANY Clinic ask them. At the end of the day its your health. The GUM Clinic I went to was useless and Medilab have been nothing but helpful. I think its a bit dumb that anyone would go to a reputable clinic, pay good money to get tested, and not be aware of the testing process..

Can I just add that I have found out University Hospital of North Durham now does certs too. Just outside of Durham City.

If I had known this I would of been able to get my certs done on my door step as the Newcastle one where I got mine done was still 17 mile away and considering I dont drive it would of been a god send and also if I ever returned thats where I would be going to get my certs done. Therefore Keni will you please add University Hospital of North Durham NHS hospital on the list of north east hospitals along with Newcastle and Darlington as these 3 will be handy for any one in the north east who is in the industry or may come from the area and I used to get alot of unknowns who would probably go here as most have been close to durham.

Thanks

Paul
