I still believe that UKAP should be totally open and far more accessible to smaller producers.

It is. Your situation with Jay permitting it has. Just not to anyone who considers themself a producer. A very good reason for this is that nothing that affects producers everyday will be of interest to them.

Like I said if a producer fits into any of the criteria I mentioned then they will be automatically considered. The voting procedure was because not everyone knows who is producing so asking around is the best option unless they are reccommended.

We have a perfectly wrking general forum for new entrants who have never shot a frame of adult material as for the Jay K posting thing I dnt really know what to say as I'm a bit clueless on that one.

Besides Jay is not the moderator of that forum now anyway. I beleieve he passed it onto someone else.

I totally understand we can agre to disagree also. I'm only defending what I know because, again, the association has come up for attack , mainly with regards to these awards recently and there is a lt of misinformation flying around that needs correcting.

My defending UKAP dosnt mean I've turned to the dark side. Quite the opposite. I would like to see al the producers united through the association but that in itself is a feat not even Superman can remedy.

I guess I'll just have to take his place till he gets here. !happy!

That's right Terry I don't run the forum anymore and I have already said that. But then this is not the first time "Blue" has neglected to read a thread properly and understand what is being said. He does it all the time.

So especially for Blue - I don't run the UKAP forums anymore or answer emails over there. Somebody else does. Would tell you who, but then Blue you would just attack them on every public forum like you did with me.

Actually, it was you who did the attacking. The proof is in your writing.

But then this is probably not the first time you have abused your position.

Perhaps you could read this thread again properly and understand what is being said. http://bgafd.co.uk/forum/read.php?f=5&i=40176&t=40176

Then maybe tell me why I was singled out with your comments here? http://www.ukadultproducers.com/board/s ... ostcount=4.

As for attacking people for no particular reason........nah.......I'll leave that up to you. !happy!

"There are guidelines to help with this decision and they were at least a website and/or released material on the market. that's all. Otherwise it leaves us open to anyone who has not really produced anything getting in because they are plain nosey and causing all kinds of complications."

Terry, are Bluebird members of UKAP? It's just that I recall you offering Dave Wells a spot at the next UKAP get-together as their representative, but as far as I can see they fall foul of the criteria presented here. (As-yet-unlaunched website and no released material that I am aware of)

Of course, one could argue that they do have material on the market in the form of Doll Theatre, but that's a bit of a cheat. Simply purchasing the rights to a given title doesn't make you a producer, which is why I am not a member of UKAP (and I have no problem with this either...whilst I have owned the rights to titles on sale in the UK, I did not produce them, thus quite rightly I should not be accepted as a UKAP member until I have produced something of my own).

I've no doubt that they are producing material, of course (Award winning quality, apparently, but not having seen any of it I can't comment...), but I'm kind of puzzled as to how they are any different from these Johnny Camcorder-types seeing as they have yet to release anything. The proof of the pie is in the eating after all...

Well there are many things including what you have said Dan. BB have enlisted the services of people in front and behind the camera and we all know thay are producing and they do have a site prior to launch which is ticking down as we speak for a January the 8th launch I believe.

And no BB are not members of UKAP but regardless of what I think they more than fit the bill to join if they want to. I suspect they are not really interested but then thats their choice.

Dave is invited down as a guest. We do have them from time to time like we did with the BBFC awhile back and Kelly Stafford and Kirsten earlier in the year with regards to agency/ model/ health issues.
