How is the photographer providing a service? In a professional shoot, the photographer is the client/customer...the service is provided by the model.
The photographer does not start to provide or offer a service until they try to sell their work on to a client such as a magazine or website.

Hmm,
I am sure if people get a bad enough reputation they probably won't get as much work, seems to be how things work everywhere else. If unreliable people are still working I guess nobody is bothered enough to do anything about it!!

Now you're feeling calmer would this be a good opportunity to self prom.....
Well it is the promotions form as JJ pointed out and you don't get anywhere by sitting at home ignoring e-mails......

Hi There All,
My addition to this thread is one of agreement to... I, as a performer often disapear to Easten Europe to work for the companies shooting over there, because I like you, have encountered problems of a similar kind. I've had a few bad experiences with companies in the UK, and my confidence in their professionalism is sevearly dented. Shoots that seemingly go on forever and ever, lack of consideration for the performers, eg. I was left waiting in a freezing out-house for almost 8 hours with no clothes, heater, food etc before the scene had even started, no-where to repeat the enema, which needs to be done after such a long wait. Shoots being cancelled, and not even a lame excuse... no excuse what so ever, leaving me wasting my Saturdays. And people question why I don't make more British films... It does work both ways.
Luckily, I had a great time with Harmony last month in the UK, and of course, with my good pal Alicia Rhodes. At least my faith has been restored somewhat, because I really would like to make more home grown movies, but as it stands, I end up working a lot more or the continent.
Isabel
