Most probably the top dogs of the legal profession who dictate the law requirements to the government, or certain "dip shit" politicians (PC Loving, softly treat thy fellow criminal) types.
I wonder how fast they would change their tune & get laws changed fast, if say for example, a burglar broke into their home, held their daughter at knife point, raped said daughter, then left with the family silver & a few ?mil in jewelry ???

Aghhh but Dibble, you're talking from the perspective of a man who's thinking straight. Burglars are dumb you see. Two years banged up with "Leroy 12 inch" who makes you pick the soap up every mornin in the shower isn't worth that DVD player you stole either. You see, burglars always think they're gonna get away with it, the same as most homeowners think 'I'll never be burgled'.
Of course, adding a 'drugged' burglar into the equation, makes things even more scary. I remember when people started to put alarms on their little council houses, and people saying 'burglars just wouldn't bother anymore, as the risks are too high', but burglaries have gone up since the more regular use of alarm systems. It doesn't make sense does it?
A burglar will just have a crazed idea that 'if he's got a gun too, he'll come off best'. That's the mind of anyone who commits crime, or they wouldn't commit offences in the first place. They all think they'll never get caught, and all think they can handle whatever circumstances the stupid twats get themselves into.
Prisons are 'full to the rafters' of people who thought they were too clever/skilled to get caught, and the same types of people will think they'll not get shot, and carry on robbing homes regardless.

Exactly Slamdaddy,
The law sends out the wrong signal to burglars by giving them rights in your home!!furious!
They relinquish their human and civil rights once they have criminally entered another's property.
The property owner has every right, up to and including lethal force, to protect themselves and their family.
So, legally, if you catch a burglar in your house you can tie him up, torture him, and keep him as a prisoner indefinately?
Wow, I wonder when this law was passed? !confused!

You know damn well that is NOT what he means.
You persist in extrapolating every post that defends the rights of home owners into something that makes those posters out to be either homicidal deviants or people determined to take pleasure in harming another human being.
I suggest you go off and set up BRA - Burglars Rights Association and fill it with all the tits who are happy to give up their rights, their property and their safety in the face of the criminal classes

He probably doesn't, but don't be confused, his organisation is BRA - see my previous post.

Lol, well I don't personally know the guy, but he did state 'Burglars DO NOT have rights!' I'm like, WTF? Who says? The chair I'm sitting on, doesn't have rights. The Yorshire pudding I ate today doesn't have rights, but most living things DO have rights unfortunately for some.
I suggest you go off and set up BRA
Nah, I don't feel strongly enough to go on campaign trails for scummy burglars. I hate em as much as you lot, I just don't think that, 'Burglars DO NOT have rights!' postings are dumb. Everyone has the right to life, and 'NO ONE' has the right to take another life, unless it's unavoidable.
If someone says, 'I have the right to kill a burglar, that's trying to kill me/my family.', then I'll agree. If someone says, 'I Have the right to kill a burglar to protect my property.', then I'll dissagree.
I'm quite surprised most dissagree with me on this really. (I use the term 'suprised' very loosely.)
