Excellent reply - well researched and supported - couldn't have said it better myself.
Yep, websites can actually get away with looking basic as long as the content is what people want and is marketed well to the right areas.
Although the navigation issue can kill a site dead. Keep your customers inside and never sent them down dead-ends where the only way is out! (something I fuck-up constantly).
Like my mate says... "Find your fish - feed your fish - and if they like the food they will come back to you."
Basically the container the food comes in is irrelevant nonsense as long as it can be opened easily!
!thumbsup!

Professional should not ask for extras ,for the same reason a boss should not have sex with his employee. It confuses and complicates the worker employer relationship.

No, not irresponsible Jonone. I'm kind of being drawn away from my point. I suppose I'm just offering the suggestion that a text or email like that would throw a real spotlight on anyone's opinion of correctness if it fell into the hands of their partner.

Mainly because anyone who is thinking of modeling will Google around to try and see what work is out there, they will find forums like this (perhaps) and they will base their opinions on what they read here.
Fans looking for info on models are not the only visitors here you know... prospective models find these places too!

Then maybe the girls would be better off going to a producers forum like where they can find producers (I hope) would conduct themselves professionally than get work from a fan based site where they cannot verify a producers credentials

In fact Daz you are welcome to come to the meeting on May 29th. This offer goes out to other producers also, whether you are amateur or professional.

UKAP have tried to set a code of conduct among the producers community but this is met with resistance and conflict because it seems everyone has their own agenda.

The adult industry is a wild and unrestrained animal where you can only speak for yourself as you cannot guarantee this business to be well behaved. it is based on anarchy and an affinity for disobedience. hence why it is the way it is and will always be....and that goes for the rest of the world too.

In fact, why stop there, I know someone in the fashion business who has told me this same sort of bullshit goes on and there is escorting going on among the higher echelons too.

I prefer to think the porn biz is probably the most honest of all the professions because it is what it is.

Okay, yes I perform too... and if you bother to actually read the previous posts I have reiterated time and time again that what people do for their living is no bloody business of mine... nomatter what it is they do.
And again I make absolutely NO distinction between the titles "PRO & AM"
We all do this at all different levels for whatever reason and to whatever aim.
I simply get dismayed by the open unprofessional attitudes of some posts and it is for the following reasons:

1. I'm currently trying to get a mainstream TV company to take a serious interest in a BALANCED documentary about this profession but since most TV companies know about this forum they read some of these posts and think were ALL worthless crap that they can attack at will for our moral bankruptcy! And frankly who can blame them?

2. new models I try to get into the biz sometimes know about places like this and already have an opinion based on what they read... This affects my job.

Finally, as to Tara sucking my cock...
1. yes she has... but I'm doing my best to get her to suck other people's because I want to concentrate on the photography. I notice you didn't post any links to my MANY posts trying to get men to work with her! If 'm in it for the sex then what kind of idiot would I be to go through the pain of sorting out co-stars for her when all I really want is a free blow job?
2. You've NEVER EVER see me saying to other professionals that Tara is a great cock-sucker etc (yes, to the fans - but that's the way WORK is promoted, not the WORKERS)... NO, you've seen me say that she's reliable, fun and easy to work with. This is because nomatter what the genre of work I can remain PROFESSIONAL!

Lastly, I have no wish to fall out with anyone on this board and hope that after reading my detailed explanation we can all remain on speaking terms - I just thought that it might do something to raise our profile to have an open and hones discussion about how we present ourselves on an open forum.
I'm sincerely sorry if I have upset people whilst defending my position in my replies but I really do believe that as we are in an 'odd' profession we can often do ourselves a serious disservice by being anything other than professional in the way we act publicly - and surely that can't be a bad suggestion... surely?

I don't profess to have the answer I am only making a suggestion and professional and amateur alike have the right to disagree with me - after all, I openly accept they may well be right.

Fanboy my point was: You say professionals shouldnt ask for extras but it seems its ok for amateurs to ask for extras ?????

If this has been arraned and agreed to beforehand then its ok but I dont agree with going outside of what you agreed to ask for extras during or after the shoot...Whether you are professional or amateur but this is not down to what I think.

People will do it anyway

I can honestly say with my hand on my heart that I have NEVER done anything with a model that wasn't purely business unless I was already in a relationship with her.
I always go home to the 'better-half' unmolested.
I shot one girl for about a month before she realized I wasn't gay! I am that disinterested when I'm shooting.
I was propositioned by Rosie (a bloody gorgeous find of mine) whilst we were shooting and I just avoided the question and got on with the job!

1. yes you are right. i wouldnt defend how lovely and professional our business is because it is far from it.

2.The girls are right. I dont waste time convincing girls how great this business is either. In fact I try to put off some girls by telling them the truth because that way i wont feel bad when they do get pawed by some lustful producer. The girls are drawn by th emoney and are able to pick an dchoose jobs. they have a mouth and they can say no. The weak willed will get eaten.

I can understand your point but the problem i find here is if you have a beef with the industry, the people who read it will not respond but take it to a panel that convene 3 or 4 times a year and you might get a better understanding to your rant as it is something that has come up in meetings in the past.
