Apologies if I've missed it, but surely the Ronan Keating/Lulu version of the Bob Seger classic 'We've Got Tonight' should appear in this list!

Haven't heard the JC version, but one of the joys of Porter's word craft was the triple rhyme such as
Flying too high
With some guy
In the sky
Is my idea of......
Shearston's cover pointlessly changed 'guy' to 'girl'. Clunk
