Ahhh...Texas. One of THE most sexy girls I ever met was from Texas, her accent was wonderful. I met her while working in Jamaica and then she came over to visit me in England and New York so I never got to see her on her home turf in Abilene.

If just 0.1% of the female population over there look like she did it's got to be one awesome place to live.

Happy days!

lol I still can't see how you can compare Chris Cornell with those vocalists and say his quality isnt the same! They just beat him to it for fuck sakes !! Its not his fault he was born too late to do it in the 60s.

Robert "I steal Small Faces songs and pretend they are my own" Plants cool enough but he doesnt have the power and flat-out ability that cornell has , no fucking way. and we are comparing blues with hard rock which is a little unfair but even so.

I genuinely cannot see why he isnt a "perfect" singer - he was part of a superb band who inspired virtually everyone from the mid 80s onwards...no soundgarden= no nirvana, he's lyrically one of the best and HIS FUCKING VOICE COULD FILL A CHURCH!!!!!!!

I dont get the whole "he has emotion in his voice" thing because thats only when hes singing normally - when he really goes for it and does the high/powerful notes theres no one better for me in my opinion. I think you are all just too set in favouring the old skool....60s/70s

No need for apologise to me

I was actually thinking of the other non-musical forumites and the Mods

I've nothing against Musical posts or even the same info being repeated but my one beef is when posts get larger and larger like the Pink Floyd
'Endless Musical Post'.....one mod called it possibly the most mind numbing post in history

The worst part is the scrolling past that post....a real pain in the ass when it gets to 100+ as most 'music posts' which cover umpteen subjects seem to

Each subject...new post...just makes perusing the forum easier IMHO

I'm as guilty as anyone of doing exactly the opposite

cheers

Hmmm.......I'm getting interested to hear more about these guys, I'm only familiar with "Black Hole Sun." Where's a good point to start with this band? Their most "Complete" album so to speak? I feel a purchase coming on.....
