I agree with you Kim that there is a market for various ages and looks, however the reason that agencies may have restrictions and only take on girls of a specific age and look is simply down to the fact that they have to satisfy their own existing clients and appeal to the clients they are trying to attract, and it's the same for photographers or producers in that they have a reasonable idea of what their clients want (a teen magazine is not going to accept a 40 year old BBW, the same as an over 40's magazine or mature website is not going to accept an 18 year old size 8 beauty). Also, whilst you're correct that there is a demand for mature models or larger models, it still remains that the market for such models is a small percentage of the overall market.
As for the thread turning bad. It began with people being shocked and disgusted by the offer made to Jo, people having sympathy for her having to put up with such offers. However, when she began boasting about working for free it got confusing as to why she started the thread, if she's happy working for no payment then it shouldn't really be a surprise to get such insulting offers. Peoples feelings towards her changed, because after all, it's such attitudes and actions that have led to the increase of such offers, girls happy to work for free and shout it from the rafters just attracts more and more chancers and in turn decreases the amount of paid work available for everyone. Then she goes into defensive mode and claims to be earning well, getting well paid deals etc. but I doubt very much if someone doing so well would have the time to take on free shoots and if they did would they really make a big song and dance over just ?25. No-one has anything against Jo and if she is doing as well as she says then well done to her, comments made have not been aimed at her personally but at the whole "can't pay, won't pay" scene in general.

My point has been the reason for doing free shoots is because i couldn't afford the high prices some professional people wanted. Also i have not boasted about doing free shoots, i have just stated the reason for doing them suited me and other persons involved to help boost our profiles. I did also state i was no longer advertising myself as doing content share as the few select people i have is plenty. I am now getting plenty of paid work and those i work for have appreciated me wether it's paid or otherwise.
It just seems a certain few people totally mis understood my original post and it got out of hand.
One thing i will always do is fight my corner when i feel i am right, but i would also be the first to apologise if i felt i had done something wrong.
The BBW market is fastly gaining pace and BBW's are more n more in demand.
But at the end of the day everyone has there preferance and make there own choices. All i wanted from my post originally was a bit of reasurance that not all web owners etc were gonna be like the guy i had the misfortune to have come across. After all I am only human and we all need a bit of tlc sometimes and to be told no it's ok to make a mistake.
I have learned my lesson this time, because in future i shall keep quiet and privatly email the friends i have made since coming back to the industry.
Thanks to there support i know im doing well in what im doing and have done.
Everyone is in this to make money, some of us just go a slighlty different way about it to start with.
Can't please everyone all of the time lol

Thats a nice well written message RoyR, Jo wasn't boasting about doing well exactly she was just saying doing some content shared shoots as got her pics which have resulted in her getting work offers.

Indeed- I'd say most would generally offer to pay models rather than offering content share.
Nothing against content share, of course , and I acknowledge kim's work is slightly different , but generally if a webmaster or producer is hiring you for website work then .. GET PAID!
Content share moves onto "please give me ?25 and some wine.." a slippery slope.

A very well known model told me the other day they call this content swap. !pleased! This is where as JamesA says some content is shot exclusively for the model and some is exclusive to the tog/producer. !thumbsup! A win/win situation? !confused!
