Phil here on Bev's PC....I have every bit of software you can imagine but for easy stuff Pinnacle Studio is a doddle...Adobie Encore is good for DVD but pro's don't go to DVD they go to DLT so no compression before glass mastering and less errors. but you really are in the 5000 plus burn to make that all worth while. As for Web WMV I use live encoders like Niagra so as to multi-bit rate on 1 pass. saves years if yo have a library and the best quality possible. I rember U-matic in fact I have a machine, which I might need if I ever get the time to go through the old Stacy Owen era stuff,

the wrap is about 50% of the final product cost so its rather important if you set in stone your art work. creating your own wraps means you are flexible and can change the product look if its not selling but by out sourcing you comit to final figure shit or bust.

oh dear what a shame yet another silly boy reply from the man that claims to be the master editor of the british adult empire. so to recap and according to jacques:
1, pinnacle's studio range is all you need to knock out top notch product
2, a modern day video editor needs no knowledge of mpeg structure
3, to get the cost of dvd5 replication you need to ask your local pirate even though they duplicate "duh"
4, chapeters are a good idea but anything more that a single layer menu is a waste
5, when asked for the url of his web site to back up all the above comments the url of google was given showing the source of his vast knowledge.

all the big boys on here have backed pinnacle studio as there top bollocks choice for production so if your new to this industry the bar is set at pinnacle studio range so aim a little higher and learn how to edit and blast the am-cam back in to vhs

so he already owns and uses adobe premier and has NO CUSTOMERS to please so he is a brand new pitcher in the market place. now the product he already owns is already good enough to get him where he is going yet some of the merchants suggested he dump it and fork out dosh in favour of pinnacle studio and begin the learning process from the start which in any sittuation is hardly good advise and for papz would mean more head bangin as pinnacle's method of opperation is different to any other editors. if that to you royr of britishhotgirls is good for a new comer with limited budget and experience then perhaps you are standing with the other merchats. but credit where it is due your reply was free from ficks and fucks so no doubt you'll agree the best advise would have been to instruct papz to keep his hard earned in his pocket enduring with his current set up and spend the money saved on models which in the comming months would have paid divends and given him if nothing else good product to build a customer base. jacques bangin on about mpeg structures did what jacques always does when he's above his head and took the banter to his custom level but even after that still drowned and brother blue to be honest lost his place at the table with his first fick and fuck which he also does when treading water. joke did his normal pete burns ooh this is bad for my image thing and cleverly bogged out early after kicking it off wanting to keep all this off forum.
