Where exactly did I complain why Steve's jokes are frowned upon.
I'll take that as a question regardless of punctuation.

Complaining? Why here. You could call it just a statement and the question rhetorical but in the context of the debate between me and Steve, your interruption certainly comes across as a complaint. I was clearly critical of the 'joke' and you chimed in with '40 years ago when somebody told a joke people laughed. Nowadays it's either racist/sexist/homophobic or god knows what else.' That, to me, is someone complaining things aren't what they used to be when it comes to racist-style 'jokes'.
It doesn't irk me when people don't laugh at Bernard Manning style jokes to be honest
I didn't ask that, I asked if it irked you when people express they don't 'like' Bernhard Manning-type jokes. If they don't find them appropriate, for instance (regardless of humour). Am I wrong in complaining about such types of comedy?

As for my favourite comedian: I don't really have one. Any one between Dara O'Briain, Ricky Gervais or Frankie Boyle, probably.

And here I am thinking you're a marvellous person Sam- Ricky Gervais!? I find the man as irksome as can be. Frankie is bloody funny though.

I think the skunk joke wasn't actually related to ears or noses or anything physical- it's that skunks stink, as do, apparently, Pakistanis. So I don't think you could substitute other nationalities into the joke with the same effect.

One of my favourite jokes:

******************************
Teacher: Sarah, what did you do at play time?
Sarah: I played in the sand box Miss.
Teacher: Excellent, please go and write sand on the blackboard for everyone.
She goes and writes, gets it right and gets a biscuit.
Teacher: James, what did you do at play time?
James: I played in the sand box with Sarah Miss.
Teacher: Lovely. Please go and write "box" on the blackboard.
He goes, gets it right and earns a biscuit.
Teacher: Jamal, what did you do at play time?
Jamal: I tried to play with James and Sarah in the sand box but they threw rocks at me Miss.
Teacher: Well that sounds like blatant racial discrimination Jamal. Now go and write "blatant racial discrimination" on the board and I'll give you a biscuit.
****************************************

Seemed to take forever to write, and you'd prob substitute "blackboard" with interactive white board these days :)

Surely a true Islamic Pakistani would never lurk on a porn site. I thought seeing a woman in a nice Burkah (Burqah) was enough to rock their boat, or am I just being naive and racist.

Wait a minute... I wasn't trying to say it's funny or that I agree with the joke- Sam seemed genuinely unsure as to how the "joke" is constructed. If you read my post again you will see that I said the "joke" is based on the fact that APPARENTLY- within the context of the joke- Pakistanis "stink". Not that that's what I think or find funny or agree with. Lastly, Sam makes the point that the joke is so ridiculous that any nationality could be substituted into it but I made the point that that's not correct. Although I never saw this, my Pakistani colleagues tell me that in the 70s and 80s co-workers and neighbours used to complain that they "stunk" of garlic or spices and one of my friends said that when his sons used to play in the garden one of his racist neighbours used to throw bars of soap at them- a lovely way to welcome your new neighbours- as a way of telling them to "get clean". It's a racist stereotype that this "joke" seeks to perpetuate.
