I see it's all kicked off in Lebanon, burning embassy's down due to a couple of cartoons. What utter morons. If this gross over-reaction continues, it will alienate Muslims further... we surely cannot be that far off some kind of civil war, which would suit the fundamentalists and our beloved western authorities down to the ground.
If only the fuckwits could understand that every ridiculous complete overreaction and every step out of line - be it Iranian nuclear development, Iraqi dissent or Bin Laden sending dickheads into big buildings - is playing completely into corporate americas hands.

Afraid I don?t have much sympathy for Simon Heffer, Melanie Phillips and all that mob ? they?re a bit to, pompous, priggish, sniffy and sanctimonious for my tastes. Sorted! I fear that Simon and Melanie might not entirely approve of my hedonistic aims and instead advocate abstention? Well, t? fuck with that, say I.

Mind you, although Simon writes a lot of pompous anti-sex cobblers, I did catch a piece he did for Radio 4 a while back about the corrosive effects of political correctness on the rational and reasonable. It was measured, well reasoned, and coherent. I was impressed.

At the risk of sounding like Nick Griffin's lot which I am not happy about, all the ones dressed as sucide bombers, glorifying the July bombings and preaching violence at the protests should really be made to fuck off elsewhere. How the fuck is that justifable?

And what's even more worrying to me is that ordinary people are starting to feel this way. It does not even matter that they are Muslim, it's just fucking disgraceful.

Of course without wanting to sound like I am in any way a BNP supporter, one should always remember that their political rivals will always seek to discredit them in whatever way they can. If the Tories or New Labour could get away with labelling one another racist, bigotted, dangerous etc etc they would, they are not our moral guardians, they are protecting their own interests and if they could get their mated to prosecute all their other rivals, then they would.

Heard on the news that one of them owned up to dressing like a bomber and apologised for being out of order explaining that he was demonstrating what it is to have free speech....Fair enough, but then bear the consequnces of your actions levelled at normal people who had nothing to do with that cartoon that offended you in the first place....

The fact he apologised I would cut him some slack...the same way they should accept an apology and move on....As for the others who didnt come forward, i think they should get nicked and fined at the very least for causing unneccessary distress to the public for their actions and take this lightly...In their own country they would be executed as subversives.

The moral to this is yes we have free speech but it should be exercised with caution and that you are still accountable for your actions.

You have the right to say your shit, the authorities have the right to measure the consequences of your actions and therefore put you behind bars as a punishment
