yes, 18 holes. its about 5800 yards long. not the longest course you'll ever find, there are one or two par fours that can be reached in one shot if you can hit a decent drive, but then there is a bastard of a par 3, 247 yards uphill, only the best drives can get on the green, aparently its the longest par 3 in england.
I'm guessing you play as well?

Power walking;its striding at full pace swinging both arms literally up to shoulder height...add fluorescent clothing a peaked cap and its a right laugh

Meant to be very good for the cardiovascular system
I know what you mean about Males becoming obsessed with golf
I used to work with 2 such guys-both studying accountancy-believe it or not-utter dickheads IMHO
Thought they were gods gift to women - takes all types I guess.Golf seemed to be a status symbol to them not a past time
Very Shallow and unbelievably boring to talk to unless you could talk golf
Another one was very similar...studied accountancy as was a mad skier
It was all he could talk about which is fine if your amongst skiers but....boring....variety is the spice of life....obsessions the killer
