I was sad to hear about Joe.
A bloke who was easy to talk to and with a good sense of humour too.
Will obviously be missed by friends and colleagues alike.
RIP

I never met Joe but like many others on here, exchanged e-mails from time to time. Thoughts with family and friends at this sad time.

I found these words and hope that people can take some sort of comfort from them......

Do not stand at my grave and weep;
I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow;
I am diamond glints of snow;
I am the sunlight on ripened grain;
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
When you awaken in the morning's hush;
I am the swift uplifting rush
of quiet birds encircled flight.
I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry;
I am not there, I did not die.

Anon

RIP Joe

.... just to add Joe was best known for his work with ethnic girls so in my opinion an award titled 'best ethnic model' would be more apt?

Just my opinion

It touching to see some good come from such a sad loss, and I respect how everyone has rallied together, and pushed aside their differences to express themselves at this difficult time.

Joe was an inspiration to many of us and whilst his earthly shell is no more -his memory and his spirit will go on to be a positive influence in our lives and our work.

Sometimes endings are just beginnings of something else..... I can see Joe as a modern day Clarence - only he'd be running everything via msn and skype! (Watch Frank Copra's 'It's a wonderful life' if you have no idea what I'm talking about! And even though there was no bell towers nearby at our old flat I'm sure I heard bells ringing)

I agree that wherever Joe is he wouldn't want us moping.....too much! ;) So cheers to Joe and thank you for everything you did for us all. I'd tell you to rest in peace but I'm sure you'd have none of it, so see you in the next life hunni. xxxx xxxx

OK, I know this is abit late considering, but I wasn't around these forums till just this week, sad news. !sad!

Such a loss to the Industry, Joe was a nice guy.

I spoke to Joe numerous times on here, he was a cool, friendly guy.

I'm happy that an award is named after Joe, I believe he well deserves that recognition.

I shouldn't wander off from here so often.

oh my god i only just found this message. I was away all summer and only got back in November so i obviously missed it. I came across it by accident on another forum. I was wondering where he had gone after i hadnt seen any of his posts.

I am totally shocked and confused (what happened...was he sick?). I shot at his house once and met him at one of the BGAFD christmas parties.....a wonderful man who also gave us some of his wisdom when we were first starting out.

Rest in Peace Joe....you will be sadly missed. I send my deepest sympathies to his family and friends.

Regards

Hey Rebekah,

I believe it was posted that Joe had Cancer, Terry (oej) be in a better position to fill you in.

He did have an award in his memory created in the UK Adult Film Awards called the Joe Adelman (sp) Best New Comer, due to his eternal help to new comers and finding new girls.

Kaz B won it by the way :)
